Custom screen printing services

Imprint It All screen prints custom t-shirts and apparel in bulk for businesses and organizations across Indiana, from our shop in Terre Haute. Every design can use up to 8 ink colors; designs with more than 8 colors get a custom quote.

What is screen printing?

Screen printing pushes ink through a fine mesh screen onto fabric, one color at a time. Each color in your design gets its own screen.

It’s the go-to method for bulk shirts because the ink sits thick and bright, holds up to repeated washing, and the cost per shirt drops as the order gets bigger. Setup — making the screens and mixing ink — is the same work for 50 shirts or 500, which is why screen printing makes the most sense for groups.

What can you print on?

How many ink colors can a design have?

Up to 8 ink colors per design. Designs with more than 8 colors require a separate custom quote.

  • 2White
  • 3Cobalt
  • 4Red
  • 5Gold
  • 6Kelly
  • 7Purple
  • 8Orange

Why the limit is 8

Every ink color is printed with its own screen, one after another, lined up so the colors land exactly where they should. The shop’s standard setup handles up to 8 of those colors in one design. Past 8, the job needs a different setup or printing technique, so it gets priced on its own instead of off the standard price list.

Choosing “8+ / not sure” on the quote form flags your request for a custom quote. Nothing is lost by guessing wrong — the shop counts the colors in your art before quoting.

How to count colors in your design

  • Count each distinct ink color once, no matter how many places it appears.
  • The shirt color itself is not an ink color — a black logo on a white shirt is 1 color.
  • Gradients, shadows and photos usually mean more than 8 colors.
  • On dark shirts, a hidden white underbase doesn’t count toward the 8 — white that shows in the design does.

Where can the print go?

Front, back and sleeves. Each print location is its own setup, so every added location affects the price.

LocationTypical use
Full frontEvent shirts, big team logos
Left chestBusiness uniforms, small logos
Full backSponsor lists, event dates, names of the crew
SleeveSmall logo, website or year

Largest print size: 12 × 14 inches.

What affects the price?

Quantity, ink colors, print locations, garment style, garment color and deadline.

  • Quantity — more shirts, lower price per shirt.
  • Ink colors — each color adds a screen.
  • Print locations — front only costs less than front, back and sleeve.
  • Garment — brand, fabric and style change the blank cost.
  • Garment color — dark shirts often need a white underbase so colors stay bright.
  • Deadline — Rush orders are available by request for an additional charge.

What do you need from me to quote an order?

Your artwork (or idea), quantities, size breakdown, garment type, print locations and the date you need the order.

  1. Artwork or an idea. A file, a sketch, or a photo of an old shirt.
  2. Total quantity. Minimum 10 per design.
  3. Size breakdown. How many S, M, L, XL and so on. A best guess is fine.
  4. Garment type and color. T-shirt, hoodie, brand preference, shirt color.
  5. Number of ink colors. 1–8, or “not sure.”
  6. Print locations. Front, back, sleeve.
  7. Needed-by date. The day shirts must be in hand.
  8. Pickup or shipping. And your city, if shipping.

Service questions

Yes. Imprint It All does contract apparel screen printing, specializing in small and medium print runs. Send the details through the quote form and the shop will tell you how it can fit your job.

No. Imprint It All is a commercial screen printing shop that prints bulk orders for businesses, teams, schools, churches, events and organizations. The minimum order is 10 pieces per design. For a single custom shirt, a print-on-demand or heat-press shop is a better fit.

Yes, sizes can be mixed within one order — list the breakdown on the quote form. Mixing garment colors with the same design is handled case by case — note what you need on the quote form.

Not if it doesn’t show. On dark shirts, bright inks are often printed over a white base layer (an underbase) so the colors stay vivid. That hidden layer does not count toward the 8-color limit. White that shows as part of the finished design does count as one of the 8 colors.
